Westmeath remains the county in the region with the highest number in receipt of it.
The numbers claiming the Pandemic Unemployment Payment in the midlands has dropped by 778 this week.
3,098 people will receive the payment in Westmeath today, 2,563 in Offaly, and 2,463 in Laois.
Donegal, which has been on Level 3 restrictions along with Dublin, will see an extra 2,000 people get the payment.
It's the only county to register a rise in the past seven days.
