Lelia Doolan will lead the charge today.
A peaceful protest is set to make its way across Laois today against the use of Shannon Airport by the US military.
91 year Lelia Doolan is walking across Ireland to the Dail this month, with her route going from Mountrath to Portlaoise
Around 20 protesters join her on today's leg, with the owners of Roundwood House Hotel also joining after offering free accomodation to her last night.
