Over 11,000 premises can now pre order fibre broadband.
Close to 2,500 more premises in Westmeath can now connect to fibre broadband.
Over 11,000 homes, farms and businesses in the county are able to pre order high speed broadband under the National Broadband Plan.
Over 1,400 of the newly connected premises are located in the Tyrellspass deployment area, while a further 975 are in the Ballymahon area.
More than 3,700 connections have been made to the national network so far.

Almost 1,500 premises near Tyrellspass
Almost 1,000 near Ballymahon,
Over 1,700 near Delvin,
Over 3,200 near Mullingar,
Almost 1,100 near Lismacaffrey,
Over 1,600 near Moate, and
1,100 near Athlone
