Agreement Reached On HSE Weekend Rosters

Workers will now be rostered for five days over seven.

An extended working week is being introduced to the health service. 

An agreement has been reached between the HSE and trade unions, which will see consultants and other staff work weekends. 

They'll now be rostered for five days over seven, in an attempt to improve the efficiency of care and speed up discharges.
