Agriculture Minister Must Convene Fodder Crisis Committee - IFA

The Irish Farmers Association is warning drought conditions will have a knock on effect for farmers.

The Irish Farmers Association is urging the Minister for Agriculture to gather the Fodder Crisis Committee.

The body says it's due to drought conditions in parts of the country dramatically increasing costs for farmers.

Borris in Ossory's Declan Hanrahan is the chair of the IFA livestock committee, and says this will have a knock on effect for overall supplies if growing conditions don't improve.
