Women's Aid new Annual Impact Report shows 34,000 disclosures of abuse were made in 2021 - but Anne Clarke from Offaly Domestic Violence Support Service says that figure could treble if calls made to all 38 services in Ireland are added.
Reports of child abuse also made up almost 6,000 of the calls to Women's Aid.
Ms. Clarke says there was a notable difference in the nature of calls:
