The annual memorial walk for a missing Midlands woman is taking place this weekend.
Fiona Pender, of Church Street, Tullamore was last seen on Friday the 23rd of August, 1996 and was reported missing at seven-and-a-half months pregnant.
An investigation by the Gardaí into her disappearance in May of this year, said they had upgraded their missing person investigation to a murder inquiry.
The 4.5km looped walk along the canal bank walk will begin at 11:30am at Fiona's Monument in Tullamore, on Sunday morning.
