The rising cost of energy has taken another business in the region.
The rising cost of energy has forced another midlands business to close its doors.
The Cornloft Restaurant in Athlone took to Facebook to announce its decision, and says it's no longer 'financially viable' to keep the doors open in the current climate.
It's owner, Michael, says the restaurant has been his 'second home' for the last three years, and thanked his customers, staff and suppliers for their support in that time.
The business closed up shop for the final time on Sunday.
