The site which has been offered is a smaller building on the campus, the centre says.
European Tech Hub has confirmed it has not offered the Birr Technology Centre as an accommodation site for refugees.
In response to a parliamentary question from Laois Offaly Independent TD Carol Nolan, Integration Minister Roderic O’Gorman had said the site was being considered.
However, the company says the site is comprised of three buildings on its campus.
The main building on the site continues to be an actively managed and thriving office complex with over twenty businesses and state organisations located at the property.
It says there are long leases in place with tenants and there no plans for anything except office use in the building.
The company has confirmed the second, smaller building on the campus is being evaluated as an accommodation centre for Ukrainian refugees, as a stepping stone to live-work studios.
It says up to ten bedrooms could be provided.
However, it says no decision has been reached at this stage.
