Laois Traveller Action Group is welcoming all to the Dunamaise Arts Centre this evening.
A new book being launched in Laois today will celebrate generations of traveller cooking and culture.
‘Beurs and Lackeens Cooking Through the Years’ tells the story of traveller food, from the days of wagons and roadside cooking, to current recipes.
Laois Traveller Action Group, along with 11 women and their families worked collaboratively on the project with LOETB Community Education department.
The book launch takes place this evening at the Dunamaise Arts Centre from 5pm to 7pm.
