Burst Water Mains Affecting Supply In Westmeath

Traffic management plans are in place for the duration of the repair works.

Burst water mains are causing disruption to supply in Westmeath this evening.

A fault in Athlone is due to be repaired by 6 o'clock this evening.

It's been affecting Irish Water customers in St. Patrick's Terrace, Carrickobrien and surrounding areas.

Meanwhile,

Repairs are also being carried out to a burst main is also disrupting supply in Ballinea, Hopestown, Shandonagh and surrounding areas.

Works are expected to be completed at 10 o'clock tonight, and a traffic management plan is in place in the meantime.

The utility is advising you to allow two to three hours after the estimated restoration time for your supply to fully return.
