A burst water main in Westmeath is causing disruptions to supply.
Irish Water crews are currently working to fix the issue on the mains between the Athlone Water Treatment Plant and the Annagh Reservoir - and traffic management is in place at the site in Cornmagh.
The repair is expected to be complete by early afternoon, but supply to customers in the Athlone area may take a number of hours to fully return.
Customers in the following areas may experience disruption to their water supply while the repair is underway; Athlone Town, Baylin, Mount Temple, The Ories, Garrycastle, Dublin Road, Ardnaglug, Fardrum, Moydrum, Blyry, Killyon Hill, Bonavalley, Ballymahon road, Ballykeeran, Glasson and surrounding areas.
