A Laois Councillor believes Bus Eireann's decision to scrap a number of Expressway routes is a "further blow" to the county.
The Dublin routes to Limerick which stops in Portlaoise and Roscrea, Galway - which serves Athlone - and Cork will be cancelled from early next year.
Fine Gael Councillor Conor Bergin says the area has already been effected when Borris-In-Ossary, Castletown and Mountrath were bypassed by the service in 2014.
