Concerns Raised With New Garda Approach Against False Documentation

Gardaí will step up efforts to stop refugees travelling to Ireland with false or no documentation.

There has been a mixed response to plans for Gardai to step up efforts to stop people, seeking refuge,  travelling to Ireland with false or no documentation.

Human rights charity Doras is concerned it will potentially block access to the only escape some people have from persecution. 

It's expected Gardai will travel to international airports abroad to ensure people are travelling with the right documents.
