People in the Midlands are far less concerned about the climate and more worried about the cost of living, compared to three years ago.
A new CSO survey shows just 26% of people living in the Midlands and Eastern region would place climate change in the top three issues impacting people.
The figure in 2023 was 42%.
Inflation was named in 62% of people's responses this year compared to 56 per cent three years ago.
Housing, the rising cost of living, and the availability of essential services are the top three issues impacting people across the region.
