That's according to Laois GAA referee, Seamus Mulhare, who says the perpetrators need to be 'dealt with.'
A match in Dundalk was called off last week, after a person ran onto the pitch and 'kung-fu kicked' the referee, which Gardaí are investigating.
Mr. Mulhare says there needs to be a change in attitude towards the uniform:
