Overall 1,525 social and Cost Rental homes were delivered.
One of the State's approved housing bodies has delivered 46 new social and cost rental homes in the midlands over the course of 2024.
All 46 of them were delivered in Laois by Clúid who's latest annual report shows 666 homes in total are under management in Laois, the figure is 125 in Offaly, and 72 in Westmeath.
Overall 1,525 social and Cost Rental homes were delivered by the Approved Housing Body Clúid last year, in what was their most successful year in its 30 year history.
Dublin saw the highest increase with 835 homes supplied.
