The call comes as disposable vapes become more and more popular.
Disposable vapes should be banned, not only for their negative impact on the environment, but also because of the young people they are aimed at.
That's according to Tullamore Tidy Towns Chairperson Shane Murray, as calls are being made for Offaly County Council to support the outright ban of the product.
These vapes are not biodegradable and can also present a fire risk due to their batteries.
