Concerns Raised Over Delays To Midlands Secondary School

The property was bought over four years ago.

Parents in a midlands town are raising concerns with delays to plans for a new secondary school.

Drayton Villa in Clara was purchased by Offaly County Council and the LOETB four years ago, with the intention to develop a new second-level facility for the area.

Independent Councillor Sandy Feehan-Smollen says children in the existing school in Clara are currently "surrounded by prefabs."

She says questions over this aren't going away:
