An application has been made to amend the details of an €8.6 million renewable energy project in Westmeath.
Harmony Solar is looking to increase the lifespan of a proposed solar farm near Mullingar from 25 years to 30 years.
The plans also include a provision to raise the height of the panels themselves.
Permission had initially been granted for the development by Westmeath County Council, with a decision due on the new submission on July 27th.
