Simon Coveney says Tánaiste Leo Varadkar was 'not involved' in discussions around offering Katherine Zappone the role of UN Special Envoy.
The Foreign Affairs Minister has told an Oireachtas Committee, it's not accurate to say he was close friends with Ms Zappone.
