The number of people with covid-19 being hospitalised in the midlands continues to rise.
A further seven people have been admitted to hospital, bringing the total number to 107.
There are 54 covid patients in Tullamore Regional Hospital, 28 in Mullingar and 25 in Portlaoise.
There remains no available ICU beds in the midlands, with 16 covid patients in a critical condition.
Nationally, there are 1,923 people in hospital with the virus today, including 210 in ICU.
