Crash Leaves Offaly Town Powerless For Several Hours

A vehicle collided with an electricity pole in Edenderry on Saturday night.

An Offaly town was left without power for several hours over the weekend when a vehicle collided with an electricity pole. 

Two males reportedly fled the scene of the incident which occurred on Gilroy Avenue, Edenderry at 9.45 on Saturday night.

No arrests have been made but Gardaí investigations are on-going.
