Crime A Major Priority For Candidates In One Midlands Constituency

Fianna Fáil wants to make tackling rural crime a major issue in the new Dáil.

One Meath-West election candidate is pledging to make tackling local crime his number one priority. 

Shane Cassells says the situation on the streets of Ireland is a scourge and will spend the first 100 days of the new Dáil term attempting to address the issue. 

The Fianna Fáil rep met with the new Chief Superintendent Fergus Healy and Garda Comissioner Drew Harris about the problem.
