A Dangerous Building Order has been placed on the former drapery shop.
A derelict building "at constant risk of falling and killing someone" in the midlands is to be demolished.
That's according to Councillor Ken Smollen, who revealed a Dangerous Building Order has been placed on the site formerly known as Ms. McManus' Drapery Shop on Bridge Street in Clara.
The local authority is seeking a contractor to carry out the demolition, and the independent rep has been told the work will be completed in the next few weeks.
He says the risk of collapse is far too high to keep the building standing:
