They intend to lodge an appeal with An Bord Pleanála.
Strategic Power Limited say it's door remains open for members of the public who wish to engage with them regarding their plan for an anaerobic digester in Offaly.
Their proposal for a biogas plant on a two hectare site in Ballyduff, Tullamore have been rejected by the local authority but they intend on lodging an appeal with An Bord Pleanála.
The company says it had little to no engagement from the public during the original consultation process.
