A drone along with a package of mobile phones and drugs have been seized near Portlaoise Prison in County Laois.

The crack cocaine, cocaine and cannabis have a combined worth of 5 thousand euro while phone chargers were also found.
A man in his 20s has been arrested and is being held at Portlaoise Garda Station.
He has now been charged in relation to the incident and will appear before Naas District court this morning.
