Drug Driver With Teenage Passenger In Car Arrested By Midlands Gardaí

The driver also had no NCT, insurance, tax or a driver's license.

Gardaí in the midlands have arrested a drug driver who had a teenager in the passenger seat.

Westmeath officers stopped the motorist following concerns of dangerous driving, after which they were found to have no NCT, insurance, tax or driver's license.

Gardaí say they also tested positive for cocaine use, with a 13-year-old in the car.

The vehicle was discovered to be dangerously defective, with worn tyres, modifications and mechanical faults.

The motorist was arrested and their car was seized.
