An innovative mental wellbeing coaching program is launching in the midlands this month.
It comes as 42 per cent of farmers are currently experiencing some form of mental health challenge.
Horse Knowing Equine Assisted Learning in Mullingar is running an eight week programme of one to one coaching to support farmers, including coaching, coping skills to manage stress and improve their overall wellbeing.
The program runs from July to October in Liliput in Westmeath and Kilcloon in Meath for young peopl eover the age of 12 and adults.
