Dutch Government To Use Cruise Ship To House Ukrainian Refugees

An Offaly man has offered a glimpse into how his adopted country is handling the crisis.

An Offaly man, living in The Netherlands, says his adopted country is also struggling to accommodate Ukrainian refugees. 

Tom Cleary says the Dutch government is planning to use a cruise liner to house 1,200 people fleeing the war. 

The ship will be used for accommodation for six months from August 1st.
