Athlone IT is receiving €145,000 to invest in supports of students with disabilities.
The Further Education Minister has announced 23 higher education institutions will have projects set up to improve access, worth €5.4 million in total.
AIT's funding will go towards targeted autism and mental health supports, upgrading and purchasing software and computing facilities, and curriculum development to offer equal opportunities.
