Planning permission has been approved for the new Dunamase College in Portlaoise.
The Education Minister says plans for a new school building to house 1,000 students will be considered for tender in the next two years.
Approval was granted last week for the construction the new facility for Dunamase College in Portlaoise.
The plans will provide modern classrooms, specialist rooms, a library, a PE hall, a general-purpose hall and staff facilities.
