The Laois branch of the Irish Farmer's Association are hosting their Annual General Meeting this evening.

Charlie McConalogue will be in attendance, to hear from grassroot members.

Environmental issues and the future of the farming sector are set to dominate the discussion.

The AGM kicks off at the Abbeyleix Manor Hotel at 8pm.
