The Quick Pick ticket was sold yesterday.
People in Westmeath are being urged to check their tickets carefully today after one lucky ticket holder won the €500,000 in last night's EuroMullions Plus draw.
The Quick Pick ticket was sold yesterday at the Circle K M6 Athlone Motorway in Fossagh, Moate.
The winning were: 15, 23, 26, 33, 41.
This is the second National Lottery win that Westmeath has seen in the space of two weeks after a player in Athlone scooped the €6.4 million Lotto jackpot in the 22nd May draw.
A spokesperson for the National Lottery said: “A EuroMillions player in Westmeath got their long weekend off to a great start following last night’s draw. The lucky Lake county player is waking up half a million euro richer after scooping the top prize in the EuroMillions Plus draw. We are encouraging all of our Westmeath players to check their tickets carefully today as one player has a ticket worth €500,000. Last night’s draw also saw a Dublin player win €19,752 after matching five numbers in the main draw. We are urging players who purchased their tickets in the Drumcondra area to check their tickets carefully this morning. If you are one of these big winners, we ask that you sign the back of your ticket and contact our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie, and we will make arrangements for you to claim your prize.”
