The Braun Wellstone Midlands Renal Care Centre in Portlaoise had a Family Day yesterday.

People living with chronic kidney disease and the challenges of life-sustaining haemodialysis are in line for improved supports in Laois.

The Braun Wellstone Midlands Renal Care Centre in Portlaoise currently supports 64 patients with a new expansion set to increase capacity to 76.

Service users and their families came together at the centre for a family day to raise awareness yesterday.
