Fianna Fáil Reaffirms Commitment To Establish Housing Acquisition Office

It follows backlash about a salary.

Fianna Fail is standing over its committment to set up a Housing Acquisition Office.

The appointment of the CEO for the new Housing Activation Office will be put through a public appointment process, after NAMA Chief Brendan McDonagh withdrew from consideration.

It follows backlash over McDonagh's reported €430,000 euro salary and questions around transparency. 

However Longford Westmeath Fianna Fáil TD Robert Troy says salary discussions are still pending:
