The site should be fully operational by early 2025.

The final wind turbine has been installed at an Offaly wind farm.

The Yellow River onshore farm in Rhode has now reached its capacity of 29 turbines, on the eve of Global Wind Day tomorrow.

Remaining construction is expected to be complete later this summer, and the site is predicted to be fully tested and functional by early next year.

The aim will be to deliver 101MW of renewable energy output and be capable of powering around 67,000 homes every year.
