First Glenisk Rebuild Set For Completion In Six Weeks

Assessment of the damage caused by last week's fire remains ongoing.

The first of Glenisk's new buildings is set to be finished within six weeks.

The extent of the damage caused by last week's fire is still be assessed by insurers, but the company is already ploughing ahead with the rebuild.

The milk bottling operation has restarted in one of the site's original buildings, which escaped fire damage, and is currently operating at 40%.

Managing Director Vincent Cleary says they're sourcing new equipment from around Europe and hope to have their production line up back up and running by January 1st:
