She will be trying her hand (and feet) at the jive this weekend.

A former national news reader says she is "loving every minute" of Dancing With The Stars, even though it's very challenging.

Eileen Dunne is taking part in this year's glitter-covered competition, with her dance partner Robert Rowinski.

The pair were recently in Oldcastle, Meath offering tips for the local Strictly Come Dancing show.

Ms. Dunne whose dad was from Clonaslee and mum is from Delvin, says the training isn't easy but they are having a lot of fun:

Oldcastle GAA are hosting their Strictly Come Dancing event this Sunday, February 4th, in the Hotel Kilmore at 7pm.
