Eileen Dunne is taking part in this year's glitter-covered competition, with her dance partner Robert Rowinski.
The pair were recently in Oldcastle, Meath offering tips for the local Strictly Come Dancing show.
Ms. Dunne whose dad was from Clonaslee and mum is from Delvin, says the training isn't easy but they are having a lot of fun:
