Free WiFi Being Rolled Out At Tourist Spots In Offaly

It's hoped it will increase the length of stay of tourists.

Public WiFi is being rolled out across nine locations in Offaly in the hope of increasing the length of stay of tourists.

Fifteen points in total are being set up with a focus around significant tourist attractions in the county. 

Tourism Officer Olive Farrelly is urging businesses to join the Offaly Tourism Marketing Network, adding the introduction of free WiFi at the Clara bog will be examined. 

She says internet access is something that tourists now expect in 2020:
