Brian McEvoy is now in a wheelchair fulltime.
A fundraiser has been launched for a Laois man after a neurological disorder cost him his ability to walk and is now in a wheelchair full time.
Brian McEvoy, better known as Manzie, was diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder and has remained in the Mater Hospital since June 12th.
Mr McEvoy requires assistance to stand and is continually affected by tremors, spasms, slurred speech, and numerous other symptoms resulting from the disorder.
His daughter Joanne McEvoy has now set up a fundraiser, which has raised €4,636 so far, as they aim to reach €10,0000 raised.
