A five-year-old Laois boy, who died in a crash will be laid to rest later this week.
Aaron Hussain died on Saturday afternoon after he was struck by a car near his home in Kilminchy in Portlaoise.
He is being described as a bright and loving child who brought joy to all who knew him and is survived by his mum and dad and his brother Adam.
Interment prayers will take place at SS Peter and Paul's Cemetery, Portlaoise, at 1:30pm on Thursday.
