Two cars were broken into in Portarlington last week.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a number cars were broken into in Laois.
The incidents took place in Portarlington over the course of Thursday evening and Friday morning last week.
The first break-in took place in The Elms at around 6pm last Thursday.
Cash amounting to 80 euro was stolen from the car, along with some clothes.
A second car was broken into in the Birches in Kilnacourt Woods.
400 euro worth of cleaning products were taken, with other items worth 120 euro also taken.
That incident took place between Thursday at 10.40pm and Friday 8am.
Gardaí believe the thefts are related, and are asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area to contact Portlaoise Garda Station.
