They're reported to have happened in and around the Wolfhill, Luggacurren and Corbally areas on Tuesday afternoon.
Portlaoise gardaí are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who was walking or driving through these areas at around 3 o'clock yesterday, and may have observed a BMW with the registration 08-KE.
