Gardaí Arrest Man After Two Westmeath Business Attacks

The incidents took place yesterday.

A man's been arrested after two robberies in Mullingar in County Westmeath yesterday.

A staff member was threatened in the first incident, which happened on Castle Street at around half four in the afternoon - nothing was taken.

A short time later, a member of staff was assaulted and property was damaged at a business on Canal Court.

Money was also stolen.

A man in his 30s was later arrested by Gardaí - he's being questioned at a station in Westmeath.
