An Offaly couple has been raising concerns of the cost of regular visits to hospital.
The government is defending its record on the cost of healthcare, and the cost of cancer.
It's after a midlands couple, who are both undergoing cancer treatment, highlighted the heavy financial toll of having the disease.
Offaly's Deirdre Ferman and her husband John travel regularly to Galway and Dublin for their treatment and one trip last week to St. James' Hospital cost them almost €80 - for fuel, tolls and parking.
