Government "Disingenuous" In Recouping Tax From Workers

An Offaly accountant believes the balance should be written off.

The government is being disingenuous trying to recoup tax from workers whose employers used the Temporary Wage Subsidy Scheme. 

That's according to John McCann from MCM Accounting Tullamore.

Revenue is issuing bills to 400,000 people in a move worth €458 million to the exchequer.
