Government To Continue Cautious Approach Despite Hospitality Worries

The Irish Hotels Federation is calling for a roadmap for their reopening to be published.

The Government appreciates a call for clarity within the hospitality sector but a cautious easing of restrictions must be prioritised. 

That's the message from Junior Minister Robert Troy following a plea for a roadmap to reopening by the Irish Hotels Federation. 

It's chairperson Dara Cruise told the MidlandsToday show that neither operators nor the public can plan ahead as things stand. 

But the Longford/Westmeath TD says the threat of another wave has to be taken seriously:
