Health Minister Called On To Confirm Future Of Midlands Hospital

It's four years since a rally was held to protest it's proposed downgrading.

The Minister for Health is facing renewed calls to confirm the future of Portlaoise Regional Hospital. 

The Hospital Action Committee says the pandemic has shown the necessity of having the service in the area and the trojan work done by its staff. 

This month marks four years since the group held the 'Light for Lives' rally, protesting plans to downgrade the hospital.
