The demonstration will take place around lunchtime today.
Healthcare workers will be protesting outside of Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar today.
Members of Fórsa, the INMO and SIPTU will be outside the hospital between 12:30pm and 1:15pm.
It's in response to a large number of health posts, which had previously been approved, being effectively wiped off the system.
Unions say it's having a negative effect on services for older people, community services and mental health facilities.
